ARES Tuesday Net

Emergency Exercise Net starting at 2000 (8:00pm). We encourage all to please participate so that you are practiced in the net.

Those able to do so, we encourage all to participate in BBS Packet, Vara HF, and Winlink (Telnet).

Send your digital check ins prior to the net.

  • Phone –  146.920 MHz – /203.5 (tone) Repeater
  • Digital BBS Packet – 145.030 MHz Simplex – Send Bulletin to ALL@WA5EOC through any packet BBS gateway.
    • Example WA5EOC-1 v Conroe – you may send BBS check ins up to 5 days in advance. If there are issues connecting please wait 5 minutes before trying again.  Allowing the BBS time to reset.
  • Digital
    • Vara HF P2P – Center Freq: 3.58850 MHz – N5KWN – Send to N5KWN after 7:30 PM – before 8:00 PM
    • Digital Winlink – Send your Winlink check in message to “MCA-NET” – include method in the subject line
      • Telnet
      • UHF / VHF Packet
      • UHF / VHF VARA FM
      • VARA HF
